Skype (sky-pe) – Skype (I know, you’re shocked

            …alright, I know todays word isn’t technically Italian, it just happens to be the same in Italian but today wasn’t a very exciting day…today was a sick day for me, but Skype made my day sooo fantastic….i spent the morning and early afternoon sleeping…trying to kick this cold….and then the rest of the day was spent simply studying…so needless to say, it was a totally great day! J

….but mostly because I was able to see SO many great faces via Skype,…Meggie, Brent and GraceBug…..Sammie and Gav…..Ryan…..Mom and Dad….and Josh…..i don’t think that I have ever been sooooooo thankful for a piece of technology ever before in my life….i may be on the adventure of a lifetime, but I think about people from home so much, everyday….and I miss you all sooo soo terribly…..I am so thankful for skype to not only be able to just simply talk to people and hear those familiar voices, but also to be able to see the smiling faces…..i think that mostly when the internet on either end is glitching out (and I am usually getting so mad at the “stupid thing!” (you’re welcome mum))….mostly all I can think, is how thankful I am that it worked at all…..when you think about it, the fact that I can see my sister in Alaska, my parents in little St. Maries, or my boyfriend and siblings in Boise from all the way on the other side of the globe, that’s pretty incredible…..i may have to plan the times 4 days in advance due to the 10, 9, or 8 hours, but its soo worth it…..i honestly think it would be much much more difficult to be this far away for this long without this…..soo although the word today is the same in Italian as in English, it deserves its own post….especially since, that is what made today sooo good…..buona notte tutti…
