| ...we were kinda excited to finally score :)... |
…tomorrow!!
Tomorrow is the day my parents get here and as you can tell, I am so totally
excited!!....they are currently in Newark, spending just a few hours before
flying across the ocean to Europe….just like it is surreal that I even am
living in Italy, it is COMPLETELY unbelievable that my parents are coming to
visit me J….they
will be in Torino about 2:30 tomorrow afternoon and I will see them as soon as
I possible can run from my class that gets out at 4:30 to their apartment J….this
is going to be the best kind of adventure!!!....
….so
yesterday there wasn’t a post because, well, nothing happened….i spent all day
prepping for mom and dad to come and studying….the most exciting thing I did
was go make dinner at a friend’s house….nothing really to blog about….
…today
was much the same….still nothing super intense happened but it was a great
day!....started out the morning bright and early and headed to the kindergarten
to work for the day….unfortunately since I have this nasty cough, I spent the
day working on powerpoints for the English class…and observing classes….which
was easy and entertaining….so all in all a good day at the internship…
…after
work, IT WAS GORGEOUS OUTSIDE!!! But chilly….but it didn’t matter at all….i
came home, put on a sweatshirt and sweats, made a cappuccino and sat out on the
balcony and studied for my Italian test on Thursday….yes I was frozen after the
couple hours I was out there, but goodness gracious the sun and fresh air felt
so so good J…
…the
evening tonight was the best part of the day though…by far….one the of the guys
from Seattle that is here with us, together with an Italian student, set up
this soccer game….it was basically the Americans vs some Italians and the other
international students….oh my goodness it was a blast….i didn’t play….i was
part of the crew that just sat and watched and cheered….but man it was so much
fun J….not
really for any particular reason, just simply it was a bunch of kids getting
together, playing soccer, drinking some beers, and enjoying just being……it was
a great, relaxing and hilarious night….we are definently hoping that soccer
night becomes a “thing” because I think I heard at least ten people say, that
was really fun lets do it again…..something so simple…was just great J….
….well
all, it was just a normal, relaxed day….nothing like what tomorrow will be, so
it off to bed for this one….i cant believe that I am going to bed for THE LAST
SLEEP!!!....ahhh I think I am too excited to sleep…..my mom and dad are en
route to me!!!! Stay tuned folks, these next few days are going to be chock
full of memories J
