….well today was just down right
perfect….from the weather to my day’s activities, to the fact that Josh gets
here on Satuday….perfect…
…started
the morning nice and early with school….very very few people in class so that
was kinda of fun…they are all in Dublin today for St. Patrick’s Day (hey happy
st. patty’s people) so class was quiet and nice….afterwards I came home to grab
some lunch, and then went grocery shopping with my friend Gianna, mainly
because it was fun and I could J…and then I thought since it was such a nice day and
I didn’t really have much to do, I should go window shopping…..which naturally
changed into real shopping…..not too bad tho J…..because well I went
aaalllllllll the way down Via Garibaldi AND Via Roma!.....which are the two
biggest shopping streets in Torino…….and what killed me? H&M….but really,
are we shocked at all?? Nope J…
….so
after I walked all over…I made my way back home….stopping to see Gianni and
grab some gelato…as per the usual J and after all, it was
so so so hot today! I was actually totally sweaty from my shopping….therefore I
NEEDED it J…..I
continued to then sit outside on the balcony attempting homework and mostly
people watching… once it finally cooled off, and well I got tired of attempting
my homework on my own, and decided I needed Ely’s help for the rest…for some
reason a run sounded like a great idea….and actually it was…
….my
general idea while Im here is to not really worry, persay about working out or
my eating (which now that I am writing that and reading it in my head, doesn’t actually
sound so good….oohhh well J)….but basically my thought process is that I am only
living here for 5 months, and the food is good and I have to leave it in May,
therefore, we can worry about all of that in May, I just cant go too crazy J….Ive
been trying to do some Piyo here and there, and not eat gelato twice a day, but
basically not feeling bad if I don’t workout everyday J….its a pretty great
life……but anywho, back to my running…
….it
was soooo beautiful! And sooo relaxing….to one side of my school, across the
street, there is a foot bridge that goes over the major road, to a park right
on the river on the other side….with basically the green belt right there….it
was so busy it was great….such great views of Po and so many people to watch…the
river was super busy too….i seriously didn’t know that rowing was so popular
here, but there were tons of teams of them out, and kayakers and speed boats…so
cool to see….i went at about 5:30pm so the sun was setting and everyone was
out, young, old, families, couples, singles….so fun….i ran a good ways down to
one of the major traffic bridges and back….between running and walking it was a
good hour workout, and I didn’t even realize it…..perfect really, got home
right as it was actually getting dark J….seriously, one of
those times, you just see all these people and are taking the time to really
look at the world you live in, and think to yourself, oh my goodness, im doing
it, Im actually living in Italy…seriously…its truly a magical thing….
…I
spent the rest of the night just hanging out at home, doing some homework and
hanging out with my sicky host brother….funny he is much less disaster, and
much more lovey when he is sick…..i guess we wont have to leave him on the
corner as trade in for that puppy….lucky him J….well my friends…thank
you again for following the blog, you are all too kind for coming along on this
crazy adventure with me J I love and miss you guys so so much…this may be an
amazing life Im getting to live and experience, but you definently still miss
your home and the people there….hope lives are all going well…ti amo J
